The Bendigo Rod Stock and Custom Show ( Rod, Rat, Custom & Classic Vehicle Car Show )

will be an event that provides all true motor vehicle enthusiasts with the opportunity to showcase their vehicles

and display their skills alongside other participants in what will be a safe, controlled and friendly environment.

The Bendigo Rod, Stock and Custom event will be held each year at the Prince of Wales Showgrounds in the heart of Bendigo.

The Showground site is one of the largest of its kind in Regional Victoria and covers more than 18 hectares.

With a population of more than 100,000 and an excellent reputation as one of Australia's best in-land cities,

Greater Bendigo and the Bendigo Rod, Stock and Custom show has proven to attract motor vehicle enthusiasts

from all over southern Australia.

For businesses, this provides an amazing marketing and exposure opportunity where

Sponsors and Traders can present and promote their products or services to a whole new audience.

With support from the City of Greater Bendigo and our Sponsors/Partners, as well as the sport's national body,

the Australian Street Rod Federation, this event is sure to become a successful tradition in Bendigo.

At the heart of this event is the intention to support the creation and admiration of some of the best cars

in Australia, and to encourage quality family time and relaxation. All events, including the Go-to-Whoa, Motorkana

and Show 'n' Shine, as well as the general Lap Cruise opportunities, have been designed with a family-orientated

audience in mind, so that everyone can enjoy the enthusiasm and excitement of this wonderful motor vehicle show

in a comfortable and friendly environment.

The Bendigo Rod, Stock and Custom event will be one of only a few shows of its kind in Australia.

For this reason, this Proposal outlines an extremely exciting opportunity to become involved in this high-profile event of the future.

ADVERTISING AND MEDIA COVERAGE

Utilising both regional and metropolitan advertising mediums, an extensive television, print and radio campaign

will be rolled out prior to the event taking place, and then this will be continued as

the event date gets closer

The intention is to draw a high number of spectators from across southern Victoria, and to develop a strong

following of supporters for the show.

Other general editorial and news coverage will also be achieved simply due to the high profile of some of the

vehicles competing.

As it is our passion to create a long term event that we and our partners can be proud of,

and I feel that the Bendigo Showground's future expansion will allow for some exciting possibilities.
